Elder Care Initiative
Provides education on preparing for senior years, especially within the African American community. Focus areas include retirement and estate planning, caregiver support, elder abuse awareness, and volunteering with seniors.
Stork’s Nest
A long-standing partnership with March of Dimes offering prenatal education and incentives for low-income pregnant women. Participants earn baby-care items by engaging in healthy prenatal behaviors. Thousands are served nationwide each year.
Zeta Prematurity Awareness Program (ZPAP)
Held every November, ZPAP partners with houses of worship to share information on prematurity, its causes, and the importance of prenatal care. The program reaches over 100,000 people annually.
Adopt-A-School
Supports low-performing schools by providing supplies, volunteer hours, parent engagement support, and partnership with administrators to meet specific student and school needs.
World Elder Abuse Awareness Day
Each June 15, members distribute information nationwide to help communities recognize signs of elder abuse and locate resources for victims.
International Women of Color (Z-HOPE Component)
Provides global support through literacy programs, AIDS-related assistance, water well construction, and health services. More than 52 wells and a girls’ school clinic in Ghana have been established, improving health and access to care.
Triple Negative Breast Cancer Awareness
Chapters promote education about triple negative breast cancer, which disproportionately affects young African American women, and support early breast health screenings.
Z-HOPE (Zetas Helping Other People Excel)
The sorority’s national service program offering holistic outreach to women, men, youth, seniors, and international communities. Chapters partner with local organizations to create impactful, health-focused programs.
